The Studio
STUDIO AD is a multidisciplinary international design firm looking at the intersection of architecture, interior design, art, objects, graphics, and materials.
The studio elevates design that is functional, timeless, playful, and global, all while honoring its roots of origin. STUDIO AD, a design and architecture firm headquartered in the Dominican Republic, is experienced in creating spaces for residences, offices, and institutions, as well as, restaurants and hotels. STUDIO AD also conceptualizes exhibitions and product design. We take on mindful projects where both the client and the studio can grow in harmony.
STUDIO AD seeks a fresh and curated aesthetic, with a modern sophistication, far from uniformity and standards where value is given to timelessness, the unusual & the asymmetrical. For us, designing is about creating an experience while telling a story.
Our design philosophy is to create exceptional spaces, which are grounded on the basis of a narrative and a concept; leading to holistic design. We believe in the importance of the human experience, in the story behind each element, its context -- along with the coexistence of the old and the new and in design that appreciates the beauty of imperfection. We work collaboratively with our clients to understand their story, develop a conceptual narrative, and bring it to life in a physical form.
Our Founder and Principal, Andreas De Camps Germán, brings an international background and a distinct perspective to the design process rooted in the belief that design can create meaningful experiences.
